ELECTRIC GUITAR LESSONS - BEGINNERS

This DVD will make you master all the basics from knowing the parts of the guitar, holding the guitar & pick, tuning, warm-ups, exercises, reading TAB, chord diagrams, standard notation, rhythms, open position chords, strumming & rhythms - chords progressions, restringing the guitar, minor pentatonic scale, rock riffs, blues riffs, power chords, 7 chords with many examples from songs. The lessons on this series of DVDs are provided by Adam Makofske who began playing guitar in 1987. Adam continued his music education and SUNY New Paltz, where he earned a bachelor's degree in jazz studies. In 1995 Adam devoted his life and livelihood to performing and teaching music. In addition to teaching private lessons, Adam taught at Orange County Community College and is on the faculty at the prestigious National Guitar Workshop. Run time approx. 115 minutes.
