PAIRING FOOD & WINE
Wine and food are meant for each other; each enhances and strengthens the experience of the whole. So why does it seem so difficult to pair foods with wines? Maybe it is because of a common belief that one has to know many strict rules and regulations in order to obtain the perfect wind and food pairing.
With this DVD you will learn that there are no strict rules but good suggestions, you will learn how to match today’s multi-ethnic flavors with the wide range of wines from around the world to create your favorite combination.
You will learn how to consider flavors’ interaction, while keeping in mind that the flavors in the foods can both contradict and compliment wine, and much much more.
All the above is brought to you by Walter A. Kotrba, CWE, an experienced Wine Educator and Consultant, member of the Society of Wine Educators.
Barbara Seeling Brown, a food and wine writer, member of Les Dames d’Escoffier, Women for Wine Sense and the immediate past president of NYACP.
Gerry Piserchia, CWE director of education of Fedway Associates, in NJ. And
Chef Michael Peters, a gradute of the Paris Cordon Bleu, chef proprietor of the premier rated Brass Rail, and presently owner of Pierre Bistro that features French inspired dishes. |
